ENERCON E-33 and E-53 wind turbines
ENERCON has been setting new standards in technological design for more than 25 years now. With more than 16,000 wind turbines installed in over 30 countries, ENERCON is also recognised as one of the leading manufacturers at the international level. Research and development, as well as production and sales are constantly evolving.
Rotor blade concept
When it comes to yield, noise emission and stress minimisation, ENERCON’s rotor blade concept sets new standards in the wind energy sector. Because of their modified shape, the blades not only draw energy from the outer edges but also use the inner radius of the swept area, considerably increasing power output. The new rotor blades are also less susceptible to turbulence and provide an even flow along the entire length of the blade profile.
Direct drive
The drive system for ENERCON wind energy converters is based on a simple principle: fewer rotating components reduce mechanical stress while at the same time increasing the equipment’s technical service life. Wind turbine maintenance and service costs are reduced (fewer wearing parts, no gear oil change, etc.) and operating expenses lowered.
Feasibility Study
The site specific requirements for turbines of this size need detailed investigation before a decision to go ahead should be considered, or a planning application submitted.
The first stage of your project would be for Sol-vent Energy Ltd to produce a Medium Wind Desktop Feasibility Study FREE OF CHARGE this will enable us to establish if it is a viable choice for you.
When you proceed to a full feasibility study a member of Sol-vent Energy Ltd staff will visit your site and using a number of different techniques will assess all aspects of your proposed location for a medium sized wind turbine. A detailed report will be generated and sent to you. You will be sent the completed report and a full project estimate of costs within a few weeks of the visit.
